The Concept

What is "New Found Kernel" ?

Taking on this project I decided to look deep within myself and try discover who I am. For most of my life I have attempted to move on, escaping the confines of my hometown. There was a feeling deep within, that something dark was always there lurking over my shoulder, waiting to pull me down. 

This feeling throughout the years has grown and grown, so much so that I suffered from terrible depression and had a nervous breakdown.

Through the help of someone very dear to me, I overcame most of my problems and began to look at life differently.
 
 
Through my art, I have begun to discover new planes of thought within. Art has become a way of exploration for me. 
The concept behind New Found Kernel is basically a simple one.
I am the container on a journey of exploration. Breaking away at the shell that binds me, I slowly begin to discover who I am.
But in the dark, there is always that sense of being pulled down.
Once I escape and keep on going, it can never touch me and drag me down.
I am looking for the essence within that keep me sustained.

In the end, New Found Kernel is really my New Found Self.
