The pages are part of collaboration
with my fellow students in Year 1

at the
W.I.T.
We were all given the same
project brief, which centred around the concept of Containment, Journey
and the Historical connections between Waterford City and Newfoundland,
Canada.
Basically, we had to imagine
the position of those who left their homes and Ireland long ago, escaping
the Famine or for other unfortunate reasons and travelling to a distant
land seeking a new life and a new future.
What would we do in that
situation ?
What possesions would we
take ?
Could we cope with the change
of environment ?
Would the future be better
than the past ? |
