Cocoons represent metamorphosis to scientists and also to me,where I have created different cocoons representing different aspects of my life, the stages I have gone through and the metamorphosis I hope to achieve in my old age,where I will escape from the cocoon I have been within all my life to become the person I was put on this earth to be. Cocoons,although protecters of the weak are quite fragile themselves and I have created a very delicate piece from meshed silver wire for my smaller cocoons to hang within.This external piece acts as a cocoon itself where it protects the smaller pieces which are extremely fragile from the public hand.
