As the idea of emigration is an important part in this project I began to think what it would be like to leave everything behind and never to return. Immediately I began to feel the pain and the loss it would cause me and could be almost compared to death, as you would be leaving behind the only life you knew and entering another which is unknow. As I had already researched the celtic way of life, I thought that this experience of travelling to a new land , into the unknown, was like a life after death experience.  I then started to research the celtic burial customs and the containers in which they used to contain the bones or ashes of their dead.
