Flying for the first time

It felt like i was in a large tin can

counting the endless rows

sailing down the aisle to find my seat

in my chair i felt a bit at ease.

 

Flying a new adventure

excitement and fright rushed through me

what to expect?

as time grew close

my sweaty palms clutch the chair

the plane soared into the sky.
