Poem 5
Part 3
    Hidden Fear
i am the loneliness you fear,
as you pretend to lead the life
of one who knows no fear or sorrow.
you hide behind the mask of smile
but i know i am there.
   ever growing,ever watching,
   ever pounding,ever snarling.
you know me well, you fear me well,
   you bury me-not so well.
   always have i been there
   always will i be there.
what do you do to stop me?
hide from my hounds in the magical smoke,
drown my demons in the half empty glass.

this poem is the final part of a three part series of poems based on the theme of fear.
the fear in this poem is a fear of loneliness.
to capture the feelings in each of the areas i will be using different paint effects/marks as materials.for this i have been looking at the work of VAN GOGH who conveyed his feelings of isolation and loneliness through use of strong colour and brushstrokes which were unique to him.
