Board 1    Child awakes in an empty room in the middle of the night.It is dark and it is raining outside.The child imagines he hears movement behind the wardrobe  and gets frightened.The child leaves the room in search of his mother.  Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames.

Board 2    This is the child's new home and he does not yet know his way around.He searches in all the doors in the corridor outside his room.The rooms are all dark,empty and unwelcoming.        Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames.

Board 3    The child ventures into the sitting room at the end of the corridor.Nothing in this room is familiar to the child.He looks out the window just in time to see lightning.A sound distracts him ..........      Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames

   

Board 4    The Phone on the coffee table startles the child.It is ringing very loudly and violently.It stops to ring after about 3 secs.(75 frames).The child imagines he hears a noise from the corridor he already came through............      Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames

Board 5    He quickly turns to face the corridor and there is nothing there.Suddenly a flash of lightning appears and the child imagines he sees a shadowed figure in the entrance to the corridor.But there is no-one there.He runs toward a corridor to the left of the one he already came through  Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames

Board 6    The child  hides inside a cabinet on the left hand side of the hall.(See board 7 for a view of the hall).The childs eyes turn black (To symbolise fear)and he peers out of the cabinet to check if the coast is clear.All is quiet so the child leaves the cabinet.    Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames

   

Board 7  The child ventures to the end of the corridor where there is a door on the left hand side.He sees his mother and enters.    Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames.

Board 8  He climbs into the bed beside his mother And gets under the covers.Camera zooms into his eyes as they gradually become blue again.  Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames.

Board 9  The camera zooms out from the childs eyes to show a moonlit bedroom.Outside the night sky is calm(symbolising the childs calm state).  Time Approx.:7 secs. or 175 frames
