Surface Science Research Group

Introduction:

The Surface Science Research Group was established in 1998 at the Waterford Institute of Technology under the leadership of Dr. Sheila Donegan.

Research Activities:

The main activity is in consultancy for industry as well as applied and basic research.  The group has extensive links with the Materials and Surface Science Institute, University of Limerick. All postgraduate students within our research group become members of the MSSI in Limerick, and thus have access to all their equipment.
