CHBR Physical Activity Resources: ‘LEGit’ Booklets

Booklet 1 is entitled ‘Time to Get Moving’ and is designed to target participants in the earliest stages of motivational readiness to change.  It includes information on the benefits of physical activity, minimum physical activity guidelines and a step by step guide on how to increase motivation.

Booklet 2

Booklet 2 is called ‘Keep Moving’ and is tailored to participants who are already somewhat active.  It includes more detailed information on the term ‘moderate intensity’, tips for overcoming barriers and tips for being active at home.

Booklet 3

Booklet 3 is designed to assist people using a motivational aid such as a pedometer in their quest to become more active.  It includes instructions on how to use a pedometer and further tips and ideas to promote walking.
