Introduction

The Advanced Automotive Electronic Control Group has a broad range of skills from automotive electronics and control systems. We have proven capabilities in the following technologies:

Research Activities

• Vehicle Networks: CAN bus, LIN, TTCAN and FTTCAN.
• Vehicle Diagnostics: ISO9141-2, KWP2000, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPWM and CAN bus.
• Hardware Design: Infineon, Microchip and Motorola.
• System Modelling: Matlab and Simulink.

Experience

The three group leaders have a vast depth of knowledge in the areas of automotive electronics, control system analysis and design and also embedded electronic applications. This experience has been gained through research and many years of industrial experience.
