Summer School Structure
The aim of the summer school is to support the research work of Doctoral students in the area of scientific computing, with particular reference to combinatorics. It is hoped that the summer school will lead to collaborative research projects between the participants.
The summer school will be conducted in video conference mode. Each of the invited speakers will give presentations covering the development of a specialist research theme and giving perspectives on future research work in the area.
A total of 24 places will be reserved for participating Doctoral who will be allocated a 20 minute poster presentation slot followed by a 10 minute session for discussion. Other Doctoral students may also audit the summer school and participate in the open forums.

Ongoing Activities
All partners agree to supply advice and support for the Ph.D. students for the coming academic year. Some of the participating academics have agreed to act as voluntary co-supervisors to the students, if the need arises. Subject to demand, a series of occasional videoconferences may be organized in the coming year.
It is proposed to expand the school to 2 weeks in subsequent years and to seek funding through the EU and other sources.
