What is this course about?
This 4 year course is offered on a full-time basis and is designed to equip graduates with a broad range of business skills combined with a thorough knowledge of the hospitality environment. The course includes a language option in all years of the course.

During the third and fourth year students pursue advanced courses in Marketing, Economics & Finance and Services Management, culminating in the completion of Research Dissertation in a chosen area of interest.
Special Features of the Course
Industry Placement
During the first term of year 3, students will be required to complete a placement organised by the college in a hospitality organisation in Ireland or Internationally. Students are actively involved in the decision making process in order that their choice of work experience is appropriate to their career aspirations and interests.

Dissertation
Students are required to research a focused area and complete a dissertation on their chosen area of expertise
Event Coordination and Management
Each year, the students of the BA in Hospitality Management organise a national conference in Tourism & Hospitality Management. This conference attracts keynote speakers, industry practicioners and students from a number of Institutes of Technology.
Course Requirement
Students on this course will be required to provide their own uniforms and equipment for practical classes; the estimated cost is €200
