Introduction
The Postgraduate Diploma / MSc in Science Education (Primary Science) is a flexible modular part-time programme which has been developed to meet the needs of teaching professionals at primary level in science education. This programme has been developed in conjunction with scientists, educationalists and practising teachers working at primary level in science education.

About CALMAST
CALMAST (Centre for the Advancement of Learning of Maths, Science and Technology) is the first of its kind in Ireland that supports, promotes and researches the learning of Maths, Science and Technology. Based in the School of Education, CALMAST brings together expertise from the main stakeholders in Education – primary and secondary schools, third level and industry. Since its establishment in 2002, CALMAST has organised events for 30,000 students in the South East and many activities nationwide.
