The National Dental Nurse Training Programme of Ireland (NDNTPI) has been developed as a joint initiative between Cork University Dental School & Hospital and the Dublin Dental School & Hospital. This programme has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the general Dental Service and will standardise Dental Nurse Training in Ireland. Successful completion of this programme will permit entry into the Dental Council Register of Dental Nurses in Ireland.

This course aims to provide the practicing Dental Nurse with the practical skills supported by the theoretical knowledge for the understanding of procedures performed by the Dentist and the other members of the dental team. All academic lectures will be delivered through video-conferencing.
