Drawing and Painting

Duration: 20 Weeks, Wednesday 7-9:30pm
Qualification: WIT Certificate of Completion
Cost: €425 (excluding materials)

This practical course aims to develop good technical and visual skills and will refer to some theory in the later stages.

This course will help students to:

> Develop technical skills
> Develop visual and perceptual skills
> Develop a broader interest in art.

Course Content:

> General Introduction
> Study of colour, composition, line etc.
> Mixed Media
> Two-dimensional image using Pencil, Chalk, Pen & Crayons, Inks, Pastel, Collage, Paint, (Water & Oil).
> Landscapes (Oil & Water)

The course is suited to people interested in developing portfolios. Students are required to have an A2 sketchpad, 4B pencils.

Class numbers limited to 12 participants.
