This course will:

> consider the social and cultural factors that give rise to emigration.
> look at the ongoing effects of migration on the person from a psychological, social, personal and spiritual point of view.
> examine the social and economic features of Ireland as a host country and attempt to reach an assessment of the impact of immigration on Irish Society.
