The qualifying examination for Primary School Teachers titled SCG, is conducted by Coliste Mhuire Marino for the Department of Education and Science.  The examination, held once a year in April/May involves Oral, Aural and two written papers.  Students will have 22 class periods, which aim to achieve Oral, Aural and written competence in Gaeilge.
