This Higher Certificate is a practical skills-based programme designed to be of immediate assistance to those setting up or running a small business.
The course aims to develop in entrepreneurs, potential entrepreneurs and those working in small and medium sized companies the practical skills relevant to setting up and running of a small business in modern Ireland.
This unique course has been designed specifically for adult students and will be delivered and assessed in ways, which are appropriate for adults' needs.
The course is designed in modules, which are divided into Mandatory (M) and Elective (E), so that each person can attend one module or several modules appropriate to their needs at a specific time.
On successful completion of a module a student will be awarded a WIT Single Module Certificate valued at 10 Credits. On successful completion of 12 modules, a student will be awarded a Higher Certificate in Business Studies in Business Enterprise Development.
Those wishing to take the course for knowledge and skill improvement but not particularly interested in obtaining the qualifications will also gain from attending the course.
