CAO Code - WD 144 Total no. of subjects at grade D or better: 6
Mininium points for 2006 : 445. Number at higher level grade C or better (honours):2
Subjects: English or Irish: (0D3/HD3), Maths 0D3/HC3

B.Sc.Arch.hons awarded after first 3 years full time
A further 2 years is required for a professional degree

Entry Requirements
It is part of our vision for the architectural programme to have a diversity of student body and an alternative route to architectural education.
Entry into stage 1
All applicants must apply through the CAO system.
A maximum of 45 students will be admitted onto stage 1.
At least 50% will be CAO applicants who are applying in the year of their leaving certificate and are awarded a place based on leaving cert. points.
The remaining will be a mix of mature students (over 23yrs of age) and graduates and transfers from other third level courses.
Mature candidates may be called for interview and must present a portfolio demonstrating creative ability.
Transfer students and graduates must also apply through the CAO process.
A request for supplementary information will be made including certified transcript of previous results.
Places may be awarded based on this supplementary information.
Advanced entry
Applicants for advanced stages of the programme must apply directly to the college.
Entry will be based on interview, portfolio and certified transcripts of previous results.
