The School of Business at WIT operates a number of work placement schemes of various durations, timings and student skills - most business needs can be readily met.  All work placements are normally paid, and the students will return at the end of their placement to complete their degrees.

You can contact us <here> for any of the disciplines in the School of Business, and we can discuss how our students could meet your requirements and contribute to the success of your business.  We can also put you in touch with the relevant person for any of the non-business WIT placement programmes.

The Work Placement Programme is designed to benefit employers in numerous ways:

  • Utilising the employment placement to employ students to start and complete special projects
  • Gaining the opportunity to supplement existing staff with highly skilled and motivated students during peak periods
  • By taking on students for a six-month (or longer) employment placement, recruitment costs may be reduced
  • Availing of the student's kowledge of new technology
  • Opportunity to evaluate potential future employees
  • Builds closer ties to the college

A recent survey of employers has found that our students exceed employer expectations in many areas but significantly so in the critical areas of ability to integrate and fit with company culture, and also in willingness to learn.  To see the full results of the survey, click on the icon below:
