National Vehicle Distribution have just notified us that they may have an opening for a  position at their facility in Baldonnel, Naas Road, Dublin - see job spec below.
 
NVD, Baldonnel, Dublin may have an opening for a student to be a Transport & Route Planning Operator reporting to the Assistant (Logistics) Manager.  This is mainly a logistics job and would probably suit a Marketing or Management Stream student and/or someone who likes to be outdoors and likes to deal with different work and problems every day.  Includes route and journey time planning for lorries, and liaising with car dealers and drivers on delivery schedule for new cars. 
Abilities required include: working to deadlines where attention to detail is key, working under pressure, building relationships with drivers and capability of  diagnosing and solving work related problems.  Must have flexible approach regarding learning new skills.  Website: www.nvd.ie/
