Interviews this week:  Tipperary Co-Op on Wednesday 23, Ivax (Waterford) and Medite (Clonmel) on Friday 25.     

Alza in Cashel:  Possibility of interviews during mid-term break at their premises.  Directions are on the board at D20.  Keep checking your e-mails if you applied for a position. 

Update on Positions in AIB:  Location:  e-mail from AIB: “In relation to the students who are looking for placements outside Dublin while we can note this as their preference, it is highly unlikely that we will be filling positions outside Dublin this year”; so assume that AIB positions are in Dublin only. 
Note that AIB plan to interview on Tuesday November 4; for those who have applied, be prepared and keep checking your e-mails over the mid-term break period.

Update on State Street:  State Street hope to carry out interviews during week commencing Monday 3rd November.    Keep checking your e-mails during the mid-term break for possible interview.

N.B.  All students should check their e-mails regularly during the mid-term break as possible opportunities may arise which need prompt attention.

Prompt Responses:  We need students to promptly respond to e-mails when we arrange interviews and when you get job offers.  We cannot keep companies waiting for responses!

New Opportunities as at October 17
Here are some new jobs that are open at the moment: 

Colgate Palmolive, Dublin:  They are very interested in students with SAP training -any stream.  If you are interested (and have SAP knowledge) please let us know.

Braun, Carlow:  They have an accounting position open. Students should be very familiar with Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.  They plan to interview on 4th November.

Curran Signs, Clonmel:  A position available for a marketing student.

Interview clothes: We remind you to have your interview clothes always available in Waterford so that you are available for interview at short notice.  We try to give as much notice as possible but sometimes this is not possible.  Remember to bring back your interview clothes after the mid-term break
 
Check e-mails and Website: Again we remind you to check your e-mails daily and also check the website each day in case e-mails are not getting through to you.
