About Research at WIT School of Business
Research is central to the WIT School of Business. The School's research community is built on a tradition of innovative, interdisciplinary activities and critical business engagement.
With 120 academics, research at WIT School of Business has both breadth and depth. But research is not just for faculty- dynamic collaboration happens across the many disciplines at WIT, with our students and with the many local and international businesses that collaborate with the School. It is this community interaction that leads to fresh insights and research that has a direct impact on enterprise.
Faculty work is disseminated throughout the global business community through publications, conferences, and teaching influencing governments, economic policy, and business practice. Graduate and undergraduate students, as well as senior executives, benefit from the emerging research and transform organisations across the globe as WIT School of Business alumni.
WIT is a context for growing researchers, offering extensive programmes and supports to basic, applied and strategic research. We provide a first-class environment and infrastructure for doctoral students and visiting faculty from other leading research schools and industries, and have available scholarships to attract the best researchers.
Consultancy projects, and the close-to-market activities of the School's five research centres, put many of the research findings into business practice, as well as providing our clients and researchers with access to a larger and wider range of expertise.
