The Centre for Entrepreneurship WIT has a number of programmes supporting business start-up, development and growth:
Current Programmes
South East Enterprise Platform Programme (SEEPP)
Next programme commencing September 2008 - applications currently being accepted
SEEPP, run by the WIT Centre for Entrepreneurship in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and Tipperary Institute, is a one-year start-up business support programme offering:
- Comprehensive Business Management and Development training leading to a Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development from WIT
- Incubation space in WIT's Research & Innovation Centre
- Financial Support
- Business Mentoring
- Business Networking
to innovative start-up companies in the region.

EnterpriseSTART
If you currently have an idea for an innovative, export focused start-up business or are considering entrepreneurship as a career option the EnterpriseSTART introduction workshop series will help you to understand and evaluate the entrepreneurship process, what it involves, and aims to assist you to determine if this is the right choice for you.
Date: 4th & 5th February
Time: 6.30pm to 9pm
Venue: Ramada Hotel, Cork Road, Waterford
Each workshop, taking place over two consecutive evenings is targeted at individuals with a business idea that has the potential to be scaled up significantly within 3 years and be export driven.Following on from the workshops participants may have the opportunity to progress to a 12 month Enterprise Platform Programme, and/or engage with an Enterprise Ireland Development Adviser on an individual basis, with a view to developing a full business plan.

Female Entrepreneurship (FEIW)
Next programme commencing January 2008 - applications currently being accepted
A pioneering initiative, the FEIW course is tailor-made for women in business. It considers the issues that women face when running and growing their businesses such as access to advice and funding, accessing new markets, dealing with staff issues, developing contacts and managing work/life balance.
Any woman with a business that has been running for at least one year can apply for this programme. Applicants should demonstrate a clear intention to grow their business in the next twelve months.

Pos t Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development - for Enterprise Centr e Managers
Commenced September 2007
The Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development has been designed specifically for Managers of Enterprise, Innovation or Incubation Centres. It is aimed at managers of Enterprise, Innovation and Incubation Centres and those who advise entrepreneurs in both start-up and development stages, and those who are interested in developing their careers through further education.
This programme leads to a fully-accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development (NQAI Level 9), awarded by Waterford Institute of Technology. Much of the material has been adopted from the successful Post Graduate Diploma in Enterprise Development awarded to participants of the South East Enterprise Platform Programme (SEEPP www.seepp.ie).

Enterprise START
The Enterprise START Programme, run by the WIT Centre for Entrepreneurship in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland, is aimed at anyone thinking of starting their own business, now or in the future.
This programme is run over 6 weeks (Fridays 6 - 9.30 pm and Saturdays 09.30 - 1 pm)

Enterprise in Action (EnAct)
This programme concluded in 2005.
EnAct was a collaborative pilot programme concerned with the implementation of an innovative business development model for micro-enterprises in the South East region of Ireland.
