Biography
Leanne graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) from W.I.T. and then went on to complete a Masters of Business Studies in Internationalisation (MBSi) also from W.I.T. She has been working in industry for the past four years. She has worked for Pernod Ricard in a marketing role for the Irish Whiskey Portfolio in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic States. Leanne also recently worked as a Business Development Manager for Cadbury Ireland ltd.
Research Interests:
During her Masters year, Leanne completed a dissertation entitled “The Extent to Which Foreign Multinationals Act as Catalysts for the Creation of Spin Off Companies in Ireland”, in which she looked at the potential for MNC’s to grow the indigenous SME sector in the southeast of Ireland and their ability to influence the entrepreneurial decision.
Leanne’s current research interests include innovation and collaborative business networks.

Leanne’s research project title is: ‘Examining the Affect of Interpersonal Relationships and Interpersonal Communication Patterns on Knowledge Transfer Efficiency in Collaborative Networks’.
