Biography
Colin qualified as a teacher in 1993, and since then has spent his time working in the areas of outdoor education and management. Firstly working as a yacht skipper in the Mediterranean and Caribbean and then skippering a racing yacht, and running a chandlery business in Liverpool. Returning to Ireland around the millennium Colin farmed for several years before taking up his current job running the outdoor education service for the VEC. He began in MBA in 2006 and discovered a previously untapped enjoyment for study. His current area study follows on from the dissertation, which was completed for the MBA and Colin hopes to pursue more research into the area of training and resilience.
