Biography
Alice conducted online market research for firms such as Proctor & Gamble, Masterfoods, Unilever and Tupperware. The majority of her research focused on new product development (ConceptFits, NameFits, PackageFits, Price Sensitivity, Conjoint analysis to determine the best combination of product attributes).She also conducted research into the interrelationship of marketing and finance in the development of new financial service development process. Alice was also involved in background research covering a variety of fields for both books and journals, on behalf of academic staff.
Alice was also Project Coordinator for the “Guidelines for Developing School Codes of Behaviour” issued to all schools and teachers in Ireland. She was also a Manager of various research projects e.g. the development of a new service for Dialego AG.In her teaching career Alice taught various subjects at a postgraduate and undergraduate level, in classes with up to 30 people. Subjects included: Market Research, Marketing Planning & Implementation, International Marketing, Business & the World Economy, and International Strategy.
She also assisted in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of an English language centre. This included meeting safety, security and pastoral care standards, in addition to ensuring the highest levels of quality in supervision standards. Alice managed the operation of the educational, sports, social and cultural programs for 90 to 150 students.
