WIT Intellectual Property Policy
As with any area of law, Intellectual Property Law develops over time as Society develops. IP Law and procedures related to technological and scientific areas evolve quickly. It is important that policies and procedures related to Intellectual property be periodically reviewed and updated to take account of such changes.
On 23rd February 2010, the Governing Body approved the WIT Intellectual Property Policy. This Policy will facilitate the Institute as it pursues its strategic commitment to engaging with the region’s economic development and will also support Institute staff in the acquisition of research support from both National and European programs focussed on enhancing innovation.
