Posted: Thu, April 30, 2009

WIT International students from China, India, Kenya, France, Pakistan, and Cameroon travelled to Killarney for a day trip during the recent Easter break, the international day trips are a means for International Students to travel and learn about Irish History & Culture while studying at WIT. WIT Tourism Lecturer Olivia Freyne was on hand to provide invaluable information to the students on the tour.

The visit included a cruise of the lakes of Killarney, followed by a jaunting cart ride through the national heritage park to the town centre. In the afternoon a tour of the beautiful Muckross House was arranged, to finish off our trip to Killarney the students visited the Magnificent Torc Water fall.

Blessed with beautiful weather & surroundings the students were ensured a truly great day.
