Orientation

W.I.T. is committed to making your transition to third level education a positive one. On the basis of this the International office arranges an orientation session for all our International students (lasts two days).  This session will give you the opportunity to meet other International students, as well as address the academic, general, practical and social aspects of student life.  Useful information and advice will be provided to you to enhance your experience at W.I.T.  Orientation leaders will be on hand to address any questions you may have in regards to your life as a student, life away from home, social opportunities, etc.  Also included in the orientation programme will be a tour of campus, Waterford city and region.  We will also provide you with the documentation required to open a bank account on campus.

Registration

Registration will run concurrently with the Orientation programme.  We will assist you to register onto the course for which you are accepted.

At registration, students are given their W.I.T. student card, which identifies them and acts as proof that they are in fact a registered student here.  The card also grants access to all the student services available on campus.

You will need the following documents to register:

1. Letter of Offer
2. Evidence of fee payment
