EU Applicants
An EU applicant is defined for the purpose of application as a citizen and passport holder of an EU member state, and who has been residing within an EU member state for 3 of the past 5 years. Applicants of this category for full-time courses of study at WIT should apply through the Central Applications Office of Ireland. Further information on the application procedure involved may be obtained by accessing the CAO's website (www.cao.ie).
Non-EU students
Applicants who are not citizens of EU member states, nor have resided for full-time undergraduate courses of study should apply directly to the International Office at WIT before the 1st of July for September commencement of the same year. Applicants are advised to apply early, and familiarise themselves with visa processing times for their country of origin. Applicants should complete an international student application form, and submit with all required documentation to the International Office, Cork Road, Waterford, Ireland.
Incomplete application forms lead to delays in the processing of applications. Please ensure that you read the relevant 'checklist' at the back of the application forms before submitting to us.
