Recruitment Advertising

Employers can notify us of their vacancies and these are published daily on the Careers website where you will find your advertisement if you click into "Jobs Available".

There are two options with regard to the information we require from you, as we are aware that not all employers have the facility to advertise their vacancies on their own website.

  • Where employers have the facility to show the vacancy on their own website, we will place the  “title” of the vacancy on our site and “link” it to your own website.  To enable us to do this we would ask that you email/fax/post your vacancy, stating the
      • web link
      • Title of position
      • Company name
      • Closing date if this is not noted on the advertisement

  • If you do not have the availability of 1. above we would ask that you email/fax/post your advertisement to us in the following format:
      • Title of position
      • Company name
      • Job description
      • Application procedure, i.e. send CV by email to . . .
      • Closing date for receipt of applications.

In both the above instances it would be helpful for record purposes if you could also advise us -

  • Contact name and position
  • Company name, full address, telephone and fax numbers, email & website address.

The Careers Centre is always willing to discuss the preliminary details and procedure over the telephone or in person.

Many academics already use the Careers website and our monthly Newsletter to identify employers currently seeking to recruit their students.
