Careers Fairs

The 2011 Careers Fair was held on Wednesday 12 October 2011 in the Main Hall and Industries Hall, RDS, Dublin in conjunction with the other Institutes of Technology and Universities - 10 in total, in association with gradireland - gradireland.com - and the gti Group.  There were 150+ organisations and institutions, including some of the largest in Ireland and abroad.  A large series of talks and seminars were also run throughout the day, including CV advice. 

The benefits to students included -

• It was the official Careers Fair for the Waterford Institute of Technology
• Meeting your future employer, as 150 + companies attended
• Attending a series of talks and seminars throughout the day
• Talking Careers Advisors at one to one career advise sessions

The benefits to employers included -

• meeting 100's of motivated students in one day
• saving time and money by attending one central event
• reinforcing your links with Career services and supporting your other activities
• complementing you other promotional activities

There are several Careers Fairs / Recruitment Fairs each year held in Ireland and the WIT Careers Centre advises students of these events via the Careers Centre Notice Boards and on this website page.  So keep looking, especially as for some of these events we arrange transport from the WIT campuses!
