Opening hours - Term and Non Term Time

Monday to Friday - 9.00. a.m. to 4.00. p.m. including Lunch time (Cork Road Campus)

Appointments are available during the above times, outside of the above only in exceptional cases and the Careers Advisor is based in the College Street Campus on Friday mornings for appointments, however the College Street students are welcome to make appointments in either College Street or Cork Road. 


Career advisory sessions are available in three options

  • Quick Query  /Drop In - 10 minute meeting, Mondays and Thursdays from 12 noon to 1.30.p.m
  • CV / Drop In               -  Mondays and Thursdays from 2.00.p.m. to  3.30.p.m
  • Individual Appointment - 30 minutes meeting

    In order to make the most of your careers advisory session we recommend before you meet with the Careers Advisor that you undertake some preliminary research, bring with you a list of questions you wish to discuss and also a copy of your CV.  If you have a particular query requiring an answer, perhaps you would prefer to email this to the Careers Advisor for guidance.


    The Careers Information Library is located in the Basement of the Luke Wadding Library, Cork Road Campus where details can be found to assist you in your career planning, employment and further study search both at home and abroad, free "take away" journals and magazines and booklets on occupations, cv and covering letters and much more - check it out.  Within the Careers Information Library there are also computers available for you to access computer based guidance systems and videos and dvd's are available for you to borrow from the Careers Office.
